History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is a great chef.

History: Alex hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Brewer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he's in love
