History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Gerard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gerard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Everard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and revenge

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to clean up the streets
