Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He usually wears his black robe and has his spear always slung over his shoulder, marred by beers. His chestnut hair is matted, messy, and big. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. A true patriot, Roland would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His auburn hair is lengthy. His eyes are gray.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a white vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His pastel leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his white boots flare out at the collars. He sports a long brown beard, and similarly colored long hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Bowyer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Richard was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bowyer. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a simple tan robe with green stripes complete with hood. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has moderate length white hair. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
