History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Motivation: Human compassion; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. A true patriot, Frederick would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Frederick was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants to work out more often
