Description: A middle-aged man, he wears suspenders and red workpants. His shirt is grey, and he wears a heavy red leather apron most of the time, and is pretty ugly. He has a long brown beard with little hanging trinkets. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Tim was born the youngest of three triplets. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Tim took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up mace and armor he uses now. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: This exceptionally lanky man is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His head has been shaved. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.
Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Norman enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Norman alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and many illithids want him driven away

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Raymond enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His violet eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kody fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
