History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jocelyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Norman hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
