When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Adventurer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bounty Hunter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Godfrey wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Aristocrat, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Godfrey abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears just a blue suit. He wears his blonde hair up in a very large beehive style do. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theodoric grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: A middle-aged man, he prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, and is pretty ugly. He keeps his red hair in a flapper bob. His eyes are green and beady.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Bertram was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Carter. He has achieved small success as a Carter.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
