History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He sports a flattop hair cut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bernard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Bernard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: He was born in a small island village. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born to a Jeweler, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
