History: Diggory lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He takes great joy in being the best Layabout in town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Odo grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Balimaar was born with his father's beautiful face. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
