Hugh Hartford, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His red hair is cut short. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hugh is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Hugh lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Hugh took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up nunchaku and armor he uses now. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He found a children's book about a Human Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Shane Wade, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He typically wears violet cloth garments or leather armor. His golden hair is greasy and uncared for. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: Shane wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by illithids. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.
Ideals: Disciplined. Flaws: Ugly, Insane. Bonds: Rich, Enemies. Occupation: Mortician
