After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Bertram is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He wears various colorful collared shirts. His blonde hair is thinning but still full. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat. He carries a battered nunchaku and tarnished bow as well. His black hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. This amber eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: With brown face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a scimitar, but if one is not available he will default to his shortspear. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is a Map Maker first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
