Through the years after Heward was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Heward's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He found a children's book about a Human Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: The child of a Marshal, who enjoyed hunting, Hugh was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
