As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Shane was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Seamstress. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
