Personality: Percival is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Diggory speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a Priest, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arnold grew up listening to his father's many stories. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
