He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A freak accident while working with his Engraver father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Bernard was born with his mother's beautiful face. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His childhood dream was to be a Butcher, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
