Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. The war was a terrible time for him, and Heward does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a Body Guard, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A 6'5" southern man, he wears green robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a lance, but if one is not available he will default to his halberd. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. He has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Miller arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: 5'7" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He dresses in yellow turtlenecks beneath a red coat with tan slacks. He wears his golden hair up. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Alexandre lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fortune-teller they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Mayor, and he later adopted a second son.

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 5'5" and is well dressed, constantly wearing a blue suit, tan shirt, and black tie. His blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Richard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Miller. He struck the Miller job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
