Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a grey coat over a white low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are likewise green.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Adelard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His first spouse was a Knight, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He is typically in his Mason uniform. He has shaved his head bald. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Mason and occasionally as a mercenary.

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a hammer on his belt. He is portly but not overly obese. His black hair is greasy and uncared for. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His first spouse was a Sellsword, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sellsword they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Navigator, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and retire the richest man in the west
