History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by illithids. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 41. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Animal Trainer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against giants

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: He wears suspenders and white workpants. His shirt is grey, and he wears a heavy white leather apron most of the time. He carries with him a set of whips on his belt, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. In his youth he was a Knight, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: He wears dull tan sweaters, loose red pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed hand crossbow, just in case. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy red hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Bertram reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He tends to his Junk Dealer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
