History: Henry lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Butcher born in the past three hundred years. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a brown vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His violet leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his brown boots flare out at the collars, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Trym embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a robe, a symbol of death around his neck, and a halberd on his belt. His chestnut hair is smooth and relatively long. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed white hat.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to get laid
