Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is blue, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His white hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Theobald speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Theobald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Percival enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the south to a Mayor, Percival learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with his Unemployed father left him crippled. He has achieved small success as a Mayor.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he tends to wear a large blue jacket. With bright red hair and a scraggly beard. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears bulky green painted plate armor. With a patchy white beard and wild white hair. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Anselm grew up listening to his father's many stories. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to protect his home

Description: This man stands a little under 5'5" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. He has violet eyes.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
