Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears tattered old clothes. He sports a long chestnut beard, and similarly colored long hair. His fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a white coat with red slacks. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: Human compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Description: He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head, and carries maces. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Randal will drive conversation. The war was a terrible time for him, and Randal does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Randal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He is portly but not overly obese. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is an amazing painter.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: To end his boredom; and many goblins want him driven away

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He worked as a nervous Bellfounder and found it very stressful. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
