History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Chad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
