He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a Fisher, his father struggled to pay the bills. Everard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. During his travels, Everard and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Everard discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Everard fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Guard profession.

History: Norman was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.
