Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Alex hails from a village terrorized by illithids. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is greedy

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Simon was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Simon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and expand his business

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.
