Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Dean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Dean was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Ruler business.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Balimaar was born the youngest of three triplets. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Gardener and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
