History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Randal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Cook, but he got bored and became a Tanner. He's also a talented Cook, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Gerard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gerard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
