History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Painter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Nicholas isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born in the west. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

He prefers to carry a lance, but if one is not available he will default to his scimitar, and his gloved hand is found clutching a scimitar. His auburn hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes are hazel.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is greedy
