History: Adelard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: He got into the Marshal business at a young age. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Marshal. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Godfrey was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
