When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Dustin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Dustin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He tends to his Seamstress job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.
