History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Heward was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Charles embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
