Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Gerard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He tends to his Brewer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Stylist. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
