Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balimaar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Gunter was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Cartwright, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Description: With tan face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His white hair is lengthy. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a Bellfounder, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: Anselm wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Druid, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Anselm enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Anselm hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and he desires power and/or immortality
