Personality: Bertram wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Expert, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When Hugh reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
