History: Gerard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was born into a rich family. Through the years after Alexandre was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Alexandre's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
