Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His blonde hair, when down, is lengthy. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears tan painted combat armor at almost all times. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.
History: Hunter was born with his mother's beautiful face. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and to be a guard again

Description: He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He carries a battered scythe and tarnished hand crossbow as well. His white hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a rose scrunchie. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.
History: Dean was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Detective, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to be a detective again
