History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Manfred never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Percival hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Percival was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
