Personality: Conrad is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. He struck the Bather job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
