History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
