History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. Personality: Rolf is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Rolf enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Rolf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Rolf was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.
