To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Stableman who has hired him part-time. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He became a Stableman soon after.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hubert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hubert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
