History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mercenary. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: Nicholas was born the youngest of three triplets. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Manfred was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
