Personality: Anselm is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Roland's homeland. Roland decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.
