History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by drow. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Manfred was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

After picking it up he was cursed by vampirism.

History: Adam was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Kody was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
