He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Kody was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a Bookbinder soon after.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and to prove his worth to the world

History: Gifted from a young age, Godfrey studied abroad. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Slave Trader. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
