History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Miles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to reunite with his old friends

History: Gerald hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Gerald took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
