History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Frederick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He got into the Detective business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers.
