Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a bastard sword on his belt. His long golden hair reaches down to his waist. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he prefers to wear tan pants and tee shirts. His red hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: He is well dressed, constantly wearing a tan suit, violet shirt, and black tie. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his pickaxe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. He keeps his blonde hair in a pixie cut. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: Don was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and to be a beggar again

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he prefers to wear green clothing when he does not wear armor. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.
Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. The war was a terrible time for him, and Cory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a violet collared shirt and yellow pants. He accessorizes with a green scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy black hair. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.
History: William was born with his mother's beautiful face. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, William never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
