History: Adam was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Painter, but he was a colossal failure. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and expand his business

He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
