History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Gerard has worked very hard to control his curse. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Servant. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Dean was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
