History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He worked as a nervous Spice Merchant and found it very stressful. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
